Floyd William Parrott, 64, has been charged with capital murder in the killings of 22-year-olds Garland “Andy” Atkinson and Cheryl Henry. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office confirmed the charges following a renewed investigation sparked by a fresh tip. Parrott was arrested Wednesday in Lincoln, Nebraska, during a coordinated effort between the Houston Police Department and the FBI. He is currently awaiting extradition back to Harris County, where he will face the serious charges against him.
